Not everyone is eligible to do B.Com. You need to clear certain eligibility criteria that you need to fit into. This is the following criteria:

A pass in the Higher Secondary Examination of the Govt. of Tamil Nadu or its equivalent recognized by the University of Madras with Commerce, Accountancy and Maths/ Business Mathematics.

The subjects taught in B.Com 1st year are Environmental Studies, Financial Accounting, Business Organization & Management, English Language, Business Law, English/Hindi/Modern Indian Language, Business Mathematics & Statistics, and Hindi/ Modern Indian Language.

There is no age limit to pursue b.com degree in India.

Yes, B.Com is Good For a banking job. But the candidates who have completed their graduation from any stream from a recognized university can be eligible to give the bank clerk and PO exams.
